Nailsworth Natural Health Centre was founded in 1995 with the aim of offering the best in holistic and complementary healthcare to residents of the Stroud valley and the surrounding area.
We carefully select our practitioners, aiming for long-term stability for our clients and to build a team of dedicated professionals with outstanding levels of competence. Great emphasis is placed on preventative medicine as a way of maintaining good health.
Although the available therapies differ considerably in their approach, they all view the practice of complementary medicine as helping each individual achieve their natural harmony and balance, and this may help to make them less susceptible to disease and more able to restore well-being after illness or injury.
The clinic is situated in Smith House, a handsome Victorian building in the centre of Nailsworth, where free and easy parking is to be found.
A spacious waiting room and children's area, welcoming receptionists and comfortable practice rooms all form part of the friendly and professional manner in which the clinic is run.
The clinic places great importance on practitioners' experience and commitment to continuing professional development. Many are multi-disciplinary or are teaching in their field.
All our practitioners are fully qualified, insured and members of their respective professional body, which sets out a code of ethics and governs their professional conduct.
They recommend that you maintain a good relationship with your GP so that principles of conventional and complementary medicine can be integrated, on the basis that no single system has the whole answer to every medical problem.
If you are not sure which treatment is most suited to your needs, our management team at reception are very knowledgeable about the different therapies and can assist you in your choice.
All of our practitioners offer free short introductory consultations, and you are welcome to meet any of them before you book a treatment.
The clinic welcomes children, with play areas and toys in reception and in consultation rooms.
The consultation rooms are well separated from the reception area to provide privacy during treatment.
Please note: We accept cash, cheques and credit/debit cards.
