BA, MIFPA, MRSS
I work with clients to help them to find long-term ways to be 'in Hara', pain-free, healthy and happy.
I am a multidisciplinary practitioner, having been weaving together traditional and natural health modalities including bodywork, Aromatherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Yoga for over 10 years, to support people to connect deeply with their body, benefitting their overall health and wellbeing.
During years of training as a complementary therapist, I worked in environmental conservation for 15 years. My deep lifelong connection with the natural world guides my lifestyle, as well as my approach as a therapist.
My intention to support people in their efforts to restore and achieve health, so that wellbeing and balance is always in harmony with nature and rooted in sustainability.

Therapeutic Massage & Aromatherapy
Massage is proven to eliminate toxins and promote healing and recovery of muscle and skin tissue by delivering fresh oxygenated blood carrying vital nutrients and minerals. Anyone can benefit from therapeutic massage for many reasons, including:
It can be effective for back pain, sciatica, neck and shoulder tension, muscular and joint pain.
Stress and relaxation.
Stretching and lengthening connective tissues and muscles.
Circulation and cleansing of body fluids, improving blood circulation.
Boosting the immune system, and soothing the nervous system.
Aromatherapy uses the volatile aromatic plant essences, known as essential oils, to treat ill-health and help maintain good health and wellbeing.
Essential oils are manufactured in the leaves of aromatic plants during the process of photosynthesis and then stored in a variety of places, such as in the flowers, leaves, fruit, seeds, etc, depending on the plant. They are extracted by a variety of methods, including distillation and expression. Each essential oil is made up of a unique mixture of chemical components which result in its individual therapeutic properties.
As practitioners we believe that the positive effects of essential oils can be multiple, including:
Physically, by their pharmacological effects on the systems of the body once absorbed.
Emotionally, by their effect on the brain via their interaction with the olfactory system.
Energetically (or spiritually) via their vibrational interaction with the energy flows within the body.
The therapeutic effects of essential oils, in combination with massage, can help your whole body to relax and to let go of the pressures of everyday life.
The individual properties of the oils can help with a range of complaints from digestive issues to muscular aches & pains and deep emotional and physchological.
Pregnancy Massage, Shiatsu, Acupressure and birth preparation sessions
I provide holistic massage and birth preparation sessions to support women and their families during this life-changing time, with specialised massage that nourishes and addresses potential ailments, restorative and strengthening exercises, breathing and visualisations, handmade natural aromatherapy products, individually tailored self-care and specific birth preparation sessions.
Pregnancy Yoga 1-2-1 sessions (N.B.- can also be combined with Massage)
Yoga has the power to benefit the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual wellbeing of women during the pregnancy journey; helping to forge a deep and intuitive connection with the natural rhythm of her breath, body and baby. Regular practice can keep the body supple, boost energy, relieve anxiety, promote deep relaxation, relieve pain in labour and relieve common ailments.
A treatment with me is tailored to the individual; the first session will include a 30-minute consultation which will help to build a unique treatment plan that addresses the needs of the client, honouring not only the physical but also your emotional, psychological and spiritual wellbeing.
At the end of each session, I will make specific recommendations using TCM, Aromatherapy and Yoga to promote and prolong the therapeutic benefits of the treatment and, where appropriate,
My care for my clients does not stop at the clinic though. I create handmade therapeutic aromatherapy blends from home that are intended to further support the healing journey. Such products could include a balm for eczema or persistent headaches, a chest rub for a respiratory condition and a range to support the whole pregnancy journey.
