About Leisa
Leisa has been a health practitioner for over a decade, in her own private rooms (first London then Stroud and Cirencester).
Acupressure massage, otherwise known as Shiatsu, is her greatest offering. This is a Japanese massage preformed fully clothed on a futon.
This provides a whole medical modality informed from Chinese diagnosis and Chinese medicine. It shares the same approach as Acupuncture but has the important quality of healing touch (no needles).
She also practices Deep Tissue and Sports massage, which is really helpful for specific injuries, areas of tightness and for postural changes.
She will organically recommend, and use, whichever modality is considered more useful for the client after shared discussion on their individual case.
Leisas’ approach is holistic. Though many physical ailments can be of a repetitive, postural or injurious nature, she also believes much illness is body-mind connected. Therefore lifestyle, life experience (bodily and emotionally) and life approach are an important factor in developing good health and pain-free living.
Leisa incorporates her own stretches and yoga practice into her work by giving stretches to take away and points which are uniquely tailored for the client.
In her own life practice- Leisa enjoys Djembe drumming, Qi gong, Five rhythms and Shamanism.
She has been practicing shamanic work for a while and is passionate about our connection to nature and spirit.

Leisa's Qualifications, Memberships & Training
She qualified in Shiatsu (Acupressure Massage) from both the British School of Shiatsu and the kikai School of Shiatsu in 2005.
She is also qualified in Deep tissue and Sports massage therapy and also integrates this knowledge in her AM practice.
Leisa's Hours & Pricing
Leisa is available for appointments at the Nailsworth Natural Health Centre on Mondays from 9am-1:30pm and on Thursdays from 9:45am-1:30pm.
Leisa's prices are as follows:
1½ hour first session: £70
1 hour: £50
