What is Allergy Therapy?
Allergy therapy is a wholistic approach to allergies, sensitivities and intolerances, using Naturopathic Nutrition and Kinesiology techniques, to help support overall health and wellbeing. This includes dietary, nutritional, and lifestyle advice to address the root cause of dis-ease, and allow deeper healing.
Who is Allergy Therapy is for:
Adults and children who may be suffering with:
Known allergies to foods and environmental allergens
Chronic or seasonal allergies
Chemical sensitivities (components found in foods and the environment)
Food intolerance and sensitivity
Masked allergies’ where classic allergy symptoms may not be apparent, or have become ‘hidden’ over time. This can happen when the body has had to adapt to repeated exposure to a food or substance which can result in numerous health conditions that may be improved, and supported by identification of the offending food(s) or chemicals.
Symptoms associated with allergies can include:
Headaches
Burn out/fatigue
Muscle and joint pain
Mood swings
Hyperactivity and concentration issues
Low mood/apathy
Digestive discomfort
Hormonal imbalances
Blood sugar instability
Skin issues
Asthma
Frequent viral and bacterial infections
Many other chronic conditions

These symptoms can result from the prolonged stress caused by regular exposure to a food or substance that you may be sensitive to.

Kinesiology/Muscle Resistance Testing
I use Muscle Resistance Testing, based on Kinesiology, which can give an indication of which foods or chemicals may be causing or contributing to health issues. Muscle resistance testing is a quick, non-invasive technique in which several foods and chemicals can be tested during a consultation. Kinesiology may also identify other areas in the body which may require support.
How i can Help you
Help with identifying foods and environmental substances that are challenging for the body, resulting in symptoms of allergies, intolerance and sensitivities.
Help with identifying deficiencies in vitamins and minerals.
Understanding which areas of the body may need additional support e.g. digestion/gut health, immune system, liver and adrenal glands.
Supporting you to reduce the overall burden of stress on your body, by looking at lifestyle, emotional wellbeing, and self care practices.
Helping you to facilitate healing, by bringing your body back to its natural state of balance, using Naturopathic Nutrition and gentle health promoting techniques.
Allergy desensitisation, based on homeopathy, used to safely introduce microscopic amounts of an allergen to the body, ‘training’ it not to overreact. This may be an option once diet and hydration have been addressed.

I will provide you with tailored support to fit your individual needs. This includes nutritional advice, help with healthy lifestyle practices, and supplementation where needed.

I promise to always be compassionate and caring, and to support you fully on your journey to better health.
About Me
My journey as a health practitioner began 2021. After many years of illness, I came across Mary Sharma, a Naturopath with over 30 years of experience. I was finally able to understand why I was unwell and what I needed to do to get better. Following her approach I started to heal. Inspired by this, I decided to embark on my journey to becoming a Naturopath and helping others.

My Training
In 2024 -2025 I completed an intense training course in Allergy Therapy and Naturopathic Nutrition with Mary Sharma. This included training in basic Kinesiology techniques and Muscle Resistance Testing. I now work part time in Mary’s clinic in Stroud. I continue my studies and am currently studying Nutritional Therapy, to gain a deeper understanding of nutrition and how to use food as medicine.

I also have a level 2 certificate in Person Centred Counselling, and level 2 in Reiki healing.
What to expect during a consultation
The initial consultation lasts between 1 hour to 90 minutes, during which we would discuss current health issues, take a full case history and test foods using Kinesiology.
A completed questionaire and weekly diet diary will be required prior to your first appointment.
We will then discuss the findings and a plan going forward. You will be provided with a list of items tested in the Kinesiology session together with a detailed follow-up Naturopathic programme to support you with your health issues.
Follow up appointments are usually an hour, these are typically scheduled for 4-6 weeks after the initial consultation, but I am available to answer questions and offer further support in the meantime if needed.
